Vega State Park is situated around artificial reservoir built in the mountains near Grand Junction, Colorado. The reservoir's primary purpose is to provide irrigation to the Plateau Valley, but what makes it famous is its ample recreation activities such as boating, fishing, camping, hunting, and riding ATVs.
